A small bathroom in a 1930s flat, rebuilt in travertine with a walk-in shower and one arched mirror.
Fourteen square metres, one window and a bath nobody used. We took the bath out and gave the room a walk-in shower behind a single pane of glass.
Floor, walls and vanity are one stone, so the room reads as a single piece. The arched mirror repeats the arch of the old doorway.
Small rooms get used every day. That is why we draw them as carefully as a house.
The plan
Drawn to show how the rooms connect. Not to scale.
Honed travertine · Brushed brass fittings · Oak vanity · Lime plaster ceiling
